Like many projects upstate, the Huska renovation project involved not only an aesthetic upgrade to its major spaces, but also an extensive overhaul of the guts of the structure — mechanical, electrical, plumbing, roofing, septic — everything that makes a mountain home feel good inside and out.

Field


The Creamery Field Pavilion is located approximately where a train station was planned in 1898. Though the rail was never realized, the high roof and station architecture inspired a new home for the Bovina Dairymen Vintage Base Ball and the Bovina Farmers Market.

The Stone house renovation, a collaboration project with Brooklyn-based principal designer General Assembly, showcases a unique approach to the legacy of a very old and very timeless farmhouse.

The Kitchen Green is a small but mighty project. Working within the maximalist context of an immaculately preserved and intensely decorated farmhouse, this kitchen has supple textures and a tactile feel, but is still fitting for a modern upstate lifestyle.

Forest House


After a fire destroyed this owner’s mountain retreat, they decided to rebuild a nearly identical house (two feet longer and two feet wider), which we think contributes to its magic and humility. The house is nestled in the forest, overlooking the Pepacton Reservoir.
