NO 11:
Village Colonial

Location:  Bovina Center, NY
Size:  1,200 sf renovation, exterior improvements
Completion Date:  February 2024
Photography: Roger Casas
General Contractor: Danny Zale

The Village Colonial project is a renovation of a beautifully preserved dutch colonial house in the heart of Bovina Center. The owners wanted to honor the charm of the existing house with a sophisticated update inspired by French country homes and a Catskill mountain vernacular. With a little bit of reconfiguring and thoughtfully designed cabinetry and fixtures, the rooms feel functional, contextual, and softly elevated. The house became a home for living and a showpiece for the incredible collection of objects within.
